How an online consultation works

Choose a slot on our booking page and select Video call, or simply WhatsApp or call us. We confirm your booking and send your joining details for WhatsApp video, FaceTime, Google Meet or Zoom, whichever suits you. Online consultations are paid by EFT, and you send us your proof of payment.

Your video consultation
30 minutes to an hour, one-on-one with George. He goes through your symptoms, health history, medication, sleep, stress, diet and relationship factors to understand the likely causes.

Remedies sent with PostNet
Once your personalised natural plan is agreed, your remedies are sent with PostNet to the PostNet store nearest you, discreetly packed, and usually arrive within 1 to 2 business days, wherever you are in South Africa.

- Shift workers and night owls. We are available 24/7, so you can book a 22:00 or 05:00 consultation if that suits you.

What video can and cannot do
Video works well for: your history and symptoms, stress, sleep, diet, medication review, relationship factors, building and adjusting your natural plan, and follow-ups.
Video cannot replace: a physical examination or medical tests. Sandton Men’s Clinic is a naturopathic practice. We do not prescribe medication or run blood tests, in person or online.
If you need tests or prescription care, George tells you which to ask your doctor or a laboratory for. Which tests matter.
See a doctor or go to an emergency unit instead if you have:
- Chest pain, shortness of breath or dizziness, especially during sex
- An erection that lasts more than four hours
- Sudden severe pain or swelling in the penis or testicles
- A new lump in a testicle
- Blood in your urine or semen
These need urgent medical attention and are not suited to an online consultation.
How to prepare for your video consultation
- Find a private room where you will not be overheard. Earphones help.
- Use a stable WiFi or data connection and charge your phone or laptop. Have WhatsApp video, FaceTime, Google Meet or Zoom ready, whichever we agreed.
- List every medication and supplement you take, with doses.
- Have any recent blood test or medical results ready to share.
- Note when the problem started, how often it happens, and anything that makes it better or worse.
- Write down your questions so nothing is left unsaid.

How does an online men’s health consultation work?
You book a time online, by phone or on WhatsApp and choose a video call on WhatsApp video, FaceTime, Google Meet or Zoom. You then speak one-on-one with George Mulaudzi, Naturopath, for 30 minutes to an hour from a private room on your phone or laptop. He looks at the likely causes of your concern and builds a personalised natural plan with you, followed by video follow-ups.
How do I get my remedies if I live outside Gauteng?
After your video consultation, the remedies in your plan are sent with PostNet to the PostNet store nearest you, anywhere in South Africa. Parcels are discreetly packed and usually arrive within 1 to 2 business days. Remedies and online consultations are paid by EFT, and you send us your proof of payment.
What can’t be done in a video consultation?
A video consultation cannot replace a physical examination or medical tests. Sandton Men’s Clinic is a naturopathic practice and does not prescribe medication or run blood tests. If you need tests or prescription care, George tells you which to ask your doctor or a laboratory for.
Is an online consultation private?
Yes. Your online consultation is as confidential as a visit to our clinic. You join from a private room of your choice, and what you discuss stays between you and the clinic.
Can I start online and visit the clinic later?
Yes. You can switch between video and in-person consultations at any time. Some men start online and visit our Sandton clinic when they are in Johannesburg, or start in person and continue with video follow-ups.
